Networking for attendees is as important as the event program.

This is the result of a global survey of more than 2000 event planners. To make relevant and important contacts for their business is a main goal for event attendees and became more and more important during the last years. Event planners recognized this trend and already offer attendees the opportunity to get in contact and to network prior to the event since success and sustainability of an event are ultimately associated with the satisfaction of the participants.

At present a majority of event organizers do not offer a so-called ‘Matchmaking’ at theirs events, but are planning to use an event software with integrated matchmaking function in the near future. A trend which is demonstrated by the latest Social Media & Events Report 2014 published by XING Events.

Networking is important for event planners

Converve has realized this trend many years ago and designed an event management software with matchmaking function which is used worldwide at trade shows, conferences, meetings, hosted buyer events and other events and which is constantly adapted to current developments.

Worldwide Converve serves annually more than 200 networking events from a variety of industries – from agencies and technology companies to non-profit organizations.
