Full-Stack Developer (m/f/d)

Barmstedt near Hamburg · Remote within Germany possible Full-time · permanent

Converve is the B2B matchmaking platform from northern Germany: since 2000, we've brought exactly the right people together at trade shows, tourism events and investor conferences. More than 3,000 events rely on our software simply running on the days that matter.

To make that happen, we're looking to grow our product team. With us, you won't work on a tiny slice of a corporate backlog. Instead, you'll see your feature go from idea to live use on event day. Short paths, direct feedback from organizers and a team that has worked together for 8.5 years on average.

What you'll do here

  • You'll build new features across the entire stack: from the data model through the API to the interface that thousands of attendees use at the same time.
  • You'll work on our core: matching logic, meeting and agenda scheduling, and integrated video meetings.
  • You'll build and maintain interfaces to CRM systems, check-in solutions and payment providers.
  • You'll keep an eye on performance, stability and security: our platform is ISO/IEC 27001-certified and hosted in Germany, and we intend to keep it that way.
  • You'll contribute to architecture decisions and code reviews, and raise the quality of the codebase a step at a time.

What you bring

  • At least 3 years of experience in web development, ideally in a product or SaaS environment.
  • A confident command of JavaScript/TypeScript and a server-side language, as well as relational databases and REST APIs.
  • You think from the user's perspective: an organizer under time pressure should understand your feature without a manual.
  • An independent, careful way of working: there aren't ten layers of safeguards here, your code goes to real events.
  • Excellent written and spoken German or English, ideally both.

Nice to have, but not required

  • Experience with event technology, video/WebRTC topics or matching/recommendation logic.
  • An eye for accessibility and web performance.
  • An appetite for occasionally experiencing an event live and seeing the impact of your work.
